Nothing says “Autumn” like these delicious Instant Pot Spicy Pecans! Nutty, sweet, and spicy, the flavor of these pecans hits on all the cylinders, and it is simply impossible to eat only one.

Easy to Make Instant Pot Spicy Pecans

Recipe for Spiced Pecans made in the Instant Pot

If you’ve never cooked up a batch of nuts before, you’re in for a treat. And the Instant Pot makes it so easy. The pecans are sauteed in maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg – and that alone sounds amazing, doesn’t it? But then you add a tsp of cayenne pepper to the mix, giving these pecans an extra ZING that really sets them apart!

Autumn is a time when there are lots of family gatherings and potlucks, and holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving. Whipping up a big batch of these Instant Pot Spicy Pecans might just make you the toast of the gathering, once your family and friends get a taste of them.

Also known as candied pecans, these pecans even make an excellent food gift for Christmas or a treat for your favorite football fan. After all, pecans this good are meant to be shared so long as no one around is allergic!

Some other great seasonal treats you may enjoy are:

  • Apple Pumpkin Spice Chocolate Chip Donuts
  • Cherry Crumb Bars with Rolled Oats
  • Harry Potter Inspired Pumpkin Butterbeer Cookies
  • Homemade Buckeyes
  • Mini Pumpkin Cheesecake Bites

Spicy Pecans make a great gift too!

We love giving tasty little homemade items like this for gifts. Just make sure that you’re not giving them to someone who can’t have them (or at a place where you can’t take them, like schools).  Simply make a big batch (or two or three) and divide them among some pint size Mason Jars.

Take a circle of fabric to cover the jar’s lid and tie it with a ribbon. Print out a copy of the recipe, roll it into a small scroll, and tie the ribbon around it.

Spicy Pecans make great gifts for stocking stuffers, hostess gifts, and anyone you wish to give a little somethin’ somethin’.

      5 stars
We really enjoy making these with the spicy kick so that you get a little sweet and spicy flavor going on. But if spice isn’t your thing, you can always omit the cayenne pepper. They taste nice simply sweetened.
