Celebrating Philosophy’s new partnership with Ellen Pompeo – the Uplifting Miracle Worker collection and the Cool Ager Campaign.
Custom cocktails, sparkling wine and DJ-spun tunes filled the sound stage. This party at Quixote Studios in West Hollywood, CA on September 22 celebrated the launch of Philosophy’s new product line. Philosophy and Ellen Pompeo celebrated their partnership and the launch of the new Uplifting Miracle Worker collection. All of this comes together to promote the Cool Ager Campaign.
The campaign is a joint effort between Pompeo and Philosophy to initiate positive conversations about aging.
The collection includes “Cool-lift & Firming moisturizer for Face and Neck”, a Cool-lift & Firm Eye Cream”, and a “Instant-effect Cool-lift & Tightening Moisturizer Booster.” All products were inspired by cryo-rejuvenating treatments to help skin appear instantly tighter, firm and lifted.
What is a Cool Ager? Or if you’re cool, a #CoolAger?
What’s a #CoolAger you ask?… Good question… it’s us still hot-to-trot and wise persons over the age of 40 with so much life still in us yet to live. 40 is the new 30!
A Cool Ager is those of us who know who we are and are nowhere near ready to receive ARRP benefits. But we are old enough to know that there are no winners in mixing shots, beer pong or store-bought highlighting kits for your hair. Ellen Pompeo seems to be a perfect fit as a Cool Ager… and yes that on-site cute little red scooter did bring out the Cool Ager in me even more!
At the event, Philosophy’s Hope & Grace Initiative donated $10,000 to Pompeo’s nonprofit organization of choice, which was LA based Aviva Family and Children’s Services. Aviva supports at-risk youth through therapy and other services. The Hope & Grace Initiative represents an unprecedented and unending commitment by Philosophy to support mental health and well-being.
Celebrities and notables in attendance included: Ellen Pompeo, Christina Milian, Garcelle Beauvais, Mario Lopez and Bravo TV’s favorite mixologist Paul Zahn.
