Lolo’s new album is everything
LOLO’s sound is everything. Her album shows her Tennessee upbringing without being country and is soulful without being R&B. There’s something on In Loving Memory for every mood you’ve ever felt, whether that be bitter anger or upbeat happiness.

“No Time For Lonely” has a girl group of yesteryear sound that lends perfectly to her raspy bluesy voice and is probably my favorite song.
“Relatively Well Dressed” is another fave where she talks about what you’re thinking about while getting hit on.
While the aforementioned songs are more on the upbeat spectrum, she gets deep and retrospective in “Courtyard,” where she has a conversation with her mother about her past and her future.
I could listen to this album repeatedly (I already have), so it comes highly recommended.
Must Listens: “No Time For Lonely,” “Relatively Well Dressed” & “Not Gonna Let You Walk Away.”
