Led by your guide, you will kayak to a private beach where you may see Harbor seals, shore birds and sea stars. Once you and your companions arrive at the private beach, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch created just for you by Chef Marc Dym. You’ll also be treated to a bottle of wine to enjoy during or after your picnic. The choice is yours.
Not skilled with a kayak? People of all levels are welcome to take part. Your gear is also provided. No need to pack a wetsuit, booties, life jacket or helmet. It’s all there.

Diving and the Abalone Adventure at the Albion Schoolhouse
Do you love to dive? Do you love the taste of a fresh, succulent abalone? You may want to take part in the Abalone Adventure at the Albion Schoolhouse. Whether you are an experienced diver or a novice, you’ll have the opportunity to dive with some great freedive guides during Northern California’s peak abalone season.
You’ll find a rare diving experience this fall at the Little River Inn.
But the dive isn’t all of your adventure. Afterwards you’ll enjoy a demonstration on how to clean and prepare your catch that you’ll later feast on the day of your dive.
You’ll stay at the charming Albion Schoolhouse. It’s an art deco 1930s gem outfitted with modern amenities. Your package is for 3 couples or 6 people. It’s available August 1, 2016- November 30, 2016.
