Ingredients you need to make Caramel Apple Cookies

Caramel Apple Cookies Ingredients

Yields 12 cookies

  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 cup chopped green apple
  • 12 soft caramels, unwrapped

How to make Caramel Apple Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Prepare a baking sheet with grease or parchment paper.
  3. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg until combined.  Beat Butter and Sugar together
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cinnamon, salt, and baking soda until well combined.  Whisk together flour cinnamon and salt
  5. Add dry flour mixture to sugar mixture, and mix until combined.  Baking Caramel Apple Cookies
  6. Gently fold in apple pieces.  Stir Apples into the Dough
  7. Scoop rounded tablespoons onto a prepared baking sheet.  Form Cookies on a Baking Sheet and Add a piece of caramel
  8. Place caramel in the middle of each cookie, and gently push down.
  9. Bake for about 10-11 minutes or until just beginning to brown.  Baking Caramel Apple Cookies
  10. Move to a wire rack to cool.
