When it’s time to plan a party, it’s nice to serve a signature cocktail that not only tastes great but also adds a bit of whimsy. And there’s nothing more whimsical than bubble gum sangria.
Bubble Gum Sangria
It may sound a bit weird at first, but when you consider the fruity tastes of a traditional sangria recipe, adding just a tiny bit of sweetness from a gum ball gives it just a little bit of pop. (And yes, I went there, but vodka infused bubble gum is fun!) And so easy to make.

The great thing about any sangria recipe is that you can make it ahead of time and have it ready to serve. So if you’re looking to save money for your party, sangria can help you to save some money. If you’re serving this as your signature cocktail, you won’t need to hire a bartender for your event. And since you’re mixing it with vodka, fruit and seltzer water, you don’t have to use top shelf wine or vodka for it to taste great.
How to make bubble gum sangria
Bubble gum #sangria is the perfect, whimsical signature cocktail for your parties.
It’s easy. You start by making the gum ball infusion. I like to put the gum balls covered in vodka in a jar the night before to let them soak overnight. But so long as you start the infusion at least 12 hours before your party begins, the gum balls will have enough time to infuse.
Once the infusion is ready, you can opt to either mix your sangria ahead of time or simply whip it up during your party. It’s so simple that you can have it all ready. And I prefer to serve them in stemless wine glasses.
