Lo Brewer, a graduate of Rutgers University where she received a BA for her major in Journalism & Media Studies, has spent over 10 years working in entertainment. She started her career in ad sales and corporate training at Viacom, working for all of their channels and last saw the inside of a traditional office at Fox Networks.
She moved to Los Angeles in 2015 to pursue a career in writing, a passion that had formerly been a hobby. She maintains her entertainment website The Manifesto and writes for The Culture Trip’s Los Angeles hub and she’s currently working on publishing her second novel. Her first, The Semester, was published in 2013.
Lo’s talents and interests expand beyond writing to sewing rockabilly dresses, haunting vintage shops, crafting cartoon inspired accessories for her little sister and nieces, designing easy DIY projects for home décor, and unconsciously adding to the world’s largest red lipstick collection.
