Layne’s joy is infectious. When it comes to good health, she focuses on the 85/15 rule. That means 85% healthy eating and 15% chips and salsa, and of course, served with a side of wine.
Layne’s strength is fueled from her faith in God and her close relationships. She believes in forgiveness, service, and loving others to keep her heart and mind well.
Layne’s experience
Layne’s introduction to fitness began at an early age. As a child, Layne practically lived in the dance studio. If she was moving, there was a chance you would see more than a little spring in her step. She studied ballet, tap, modern dance and jazz at studios in California, Florida, and Virginia.
In college, Layne was on the dance team at West Virginia University (NCAA) where she was the senior dance leader and choreographer.
She has danced in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Layne was also a member of the dance team for Austin’s Arena Football team, the Austin Wranglers. Additionally, Layne was selected to represent the Austin Wranglers as a member of the Arena Football League Dream Team where she performed in the championship game in Las Vegas, NV.
Layne Bruner is certified in Zumba, barre3 and C9 HIIT. She makes working out fun!
Layne teaches Zumba, Dance Jam, and C9 Interval training at Lifetime Fitness. She has also taught at Breakdance Austin, at the Verge Dance Studio in Austin, TX and at the Beth Barnes School of Dance in Morgantown, WV.
